NATIONAL FOUNDATION DAY

Today is a national holiday in Japan. It is the National Foundation Day also called kenkoku kinen-bi or kenkoku kinen-no-hi. According to Wikipedia, "On this day, Japanese celebrate the founding of the nation and the imperial line by its mythical first emperor, Jimmu."
