SANRIO PUROLAND

What a day!

We went to Sanrio Puroland, an indoor theme park at Keio Tama Center, Tokyo today. We left the house at 9am, rode the train (Yokohama Line) then transferred to the Keio Line for another train ride. Before leaving the station, we decided to have brunch at KFC (the boys wanted chicken - again!). A short walk from KFC later and we were at Sanrio Puroland which was only 200-300 meters away. But on the way there, the wind was so strong and my whole body felt r-e-a-l-l-y chilled (temperature then was around 7 degrees - without windchill factor). Thankfully, the park has a maintained temperature of 22 degrees or it would have been less enjoyable for me. I was happy that the boys enjoyed the shows (except Ruther, of course, who was only there as translator and chaperon and thought the shows were too kiddie). We were able to go around the place and we took lots (and I mean LOTS!) of photos. My favorite was visiting Kitty's House and watching The Nutcracker Show, Kitty style. All-in all, it was a nice park. I just wish they'd allowed us to bring the strollers around. We had to store them away because the place was multi-level and had lots of stairs. Oh well... But it was still a nice experience and it certainly made me remember all those Sanrio things my sister and I had and treasured when we were little. It was like visiting a childhood memory. Although I know Ruther and the boys did not enjoy this trip as much as the Disneyland and DisneySea tours, I am still happy that Ruther agreed to let me have this experience. =D
