A SUNDAY WELL-SPENT BRINGS A WEEK OF CONTENT. - Proverb Quotes

There was another schedule for apartment inspection today so I spent the morning tidying and vaccuming and dusting. I already did some earlier cleaning last Friday so I wouldn't have to be so tired today. We did some rearranging of the couch and had lunch a bit late. But it was okay. We just watched some cartoons (Justice League), some TV shows (Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty), and the movie Rocky Balboa. I got a bit sleepy by late afternoon so Ruther made me some coffee. But the drink had no effect on me and I dozed for a few minutes. Shortly after that, I prepared supper and then now, we're playing a crime game in Ruther's Nintendo DS. It's pretty cool.

.....

I need a haircut badly. The ends of my hair look terrible. I know i'll hit the salon once I get home. I also think I need to have my eyebrows threaded. I never tried it yet, but well, I guess there is always a first time for everything. (I hope it doesn't hurt.)

.....

I'm starting to feel FAT. I know, it's weird. But I guess it's the lack of activity here and well, we're always at home... I could just feel the pounds on me. In Manila, after the boys wake from their afternoon nap, we either water the plants using their cute little watering cans (Ethan usually waters himself) or we draw on the road using colored chalk or we stroll to the park. I miss those slow afternoons. It's just so difficult to go out of the house for a nice walk here when you spend so much time getting dressed (around 30 mins for me and the boys; at home, they simply put their slippers on and we're off!). Not only that, who could enjoy the walk when you're not comfortable in the cold? Can't wait to get on my treadmill when we get home...

.....

Ruther needs a haircut too. He looks so much better with his hair short. His hair is wavy so when it gets quite long it's all over the place. It gets pretty difficult to style. So, maybe next week, he'll be sporting a short haircut.
