Yesterday I spent the better part of the day searching for some nice beach resorts in the Philippines. I was thinking of either spending some time in Boracay, Bohol or Puerto Galera. (If I had the money I would go to all three.) I guess considering the fact that I'll have 2 precocious boys with me, Bohol would be the likely choice. I think they will enjoy playing and swimming at the beach and at the same time, learn much about the place (the famous chocolate hills, visiting the tarsiers, etc). Now I'll have to look for a good package that is family-friendly and affordable. Easier said than done.

Last night, I had a nice chat with Mommy. She saw our photos at Sanrio Puroland and she really loves seeing the boys in their winter clothes. She said they look so cute. She also told me that she has been looking for nice package tours for Macau. I am SO jealous! I have been wanting to go back there (my sis, brother and I went there in the late '80s) and well, it never became a concrete plan. But last night, I was thinking that if Mommy does find a very affordable package then I'll definitely consider tagging along. Macau is such a beautiful place. Small but rich in culture and art. Love the architecture there.

It's getting harder and harder for Ruther to get up in the morning for work. I don't know if it's because of the cold (it does get pretty cold in the morning) but I do turn on the heater when I get up (a few minutes earlier than his wake-up time). It takes him around 20 minutes to get up from the time I wake him up. Lately, I have giving him coffee the moment he opens his eyes to simply prompt him to sit up and make it easier for him to get up. Ruther is really a sleepyhead (like Ethan) but with a little push and shove, he does make it in time for work.

Yesterday, Ethan helped me with the laundry. After the clothes were washed and drained of water, he helped me put some clothespins on the hangers. At first he had some difficulty opening the pins but he soon got the hang of it and he had fun helping me. He was so cute. He also offered me a hanger everytime I reached for the basket for more clothes to hang. He also loves playing with the hangers (and I let him sometimes even when I didn't do any laundry that day). After hanging all the clothes in the veranda, I let him play with the laundry basket as a reward for being a good helper. He loves to play with the basket and turn it into a train, car, hat, cradle, etc. He's happy with the "reward" and I'm happy he's having fun.
