MOVIES

Yesterday, Ruther and I watched The Departed. It was kinda weird. I did not really like it. There were mostly dialogues. I really don't dislike those kind of movies but this one was kinda dragging. I think I expected to like this movie since there were a lot of big names in it. Oh well...

The other night, we watched The Covenant. Don't ask me who the stars were because I have no idea who those boys are. Anyway, the closest I could get to describing the movie is that it's a male version of The Craft. Did I like it? Well, not too much. Having male witches (or warlocks) was an okay concept, but the story was too vague. I still like The Craft better.

Am looking forward to watching the many upcoming movies this year. Hopefully, Ruther and I will be watching Harry Potter together in July...

I saw The Covenant recently as well and wasn't too impressed. You're right, it did seem like a male version of The Craft, and a little watered down. It was one of those that, after it's over, we look at each other and say, "I'm glad we didn't see that one in the theater." Some movies are just renters. :)
