THIS LITTLE LADY WENT TO TOWN

It seems as though my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. After I had the cut, it felt as though my hair barely reached my shoulders. But my cousins said that despite the trim, my hair is still quite long. I could tell from the mirror that they were right. My hair still does fall below my shoulders. It just feels so unbelievably light. Guess it'll take some getting used to...

.....

I am starting another novel today, still by Mary Higgins Clark. This one is titled Pretend You Don't See Her. I thought I read this book already but when I checked the synopsis, I was not familiar with the plot. After reading some chapters, I realized that I haven't read this yet so now I have another book to keep me preoccupied for the next 2 days...

.....

I went to town today. I had to buy a birthday present for my cousin's daughter, Kat, who turned 3 last Saturday. I decided to get her a small chalkboard, boxes of chalk and an eraser. A few months back, I got Ethan the same things and he really enjoyed drawing and doodling. That was when I discovered that he really loves art so I was glad I got him the chalkboard. I hope Kat has fun with her present. =D

While in town, I also bought some nice shirts for the boys to wear for a party on Sunday. I still have to buy them formal shoes because all they have here are sandals and sneakers. I also got myself a nice blouse which only cost P190 (approximately US$3.5). Not bad. =D
