Yesterday was Mother's Day. It started out when my dad came to our room to wake us up to get ready for church. When Nikki awoke, I gave him the greeting cards he and Ethan made for my mom the night before. Nikki also made a cute little bookmarker for my mom because she really loves to read and really makes use of these things. Nikki went to her room with the cards (his, Ethan's and mine as well) and handed her the cards and gave her a little kiss. Of course, my mom was happy. Ethan, during this time, was still fast asleep. Oh well... =D
After that, we went to church and Ethan was a bit moody because it was warm. After church, we had to go to the supermarket to buy some groceries. The boys begged for ice cream so I got them one each, a mother's day treat. Nikki loved it and asked for another. Since the ice cream was just the small one, I obliged. We got home, had lunch and while the boys napped, I spent the rest of the afternoon blogging, checking my emails and reading my book. A lot of my friends greeted me online and through text and it was really touching that they all remembered me and took the time to drop me a line. When my dad came home from his golf game at around 530pm, he invited us to have dinner out. So yay! We had a Mother's Day dinner at a family restaurant. The boys had fun and I was sooo full by the time we went home. In the evening, I chatted with Ruther through Skype (highlight of the day). It was a nice Mother's Day, quietly spent with family. I suppose it would have been nicer if Ruther was with me, but I'm still happy with how my day turned up.
Special thanks to all my friends who greeted me and made Mother's Day even more special... Mwah! Love you guys! =D

First it was The Amazing Race All-Stars when the beauty queens lost to Eric and Danielle. That was really so disappointing. Now, it's Survivor Fiji. I feel so frustrated! I SO wanted Yau to win! I think he was the only person who truly deserved the million dollars. He was very smart, played the game beautifully and never stepped on anyone. Boo Dreamz! You're not a man of your word. If I were you, give Yau back his truck! Better yet, buy him a new one. You definitely don't deserve it. Boo! (Sorry for the rant...) Anyway, I'm pleased with the winner, though. I think Earl was okay as my second choice. He too, played the game well and with integrity. Congratulations Earl!

Remember those hair vitamin capsules I bought before? Well, I think they actually work. My hair has less breakages and it's quite shiny now. I know I still have to wait and see for further results but so far, am happy that my hair is having less split-ends. I still have to grow it a bit longer though, to have the ends trimmed one more time to get rid of some of the damaged ends that were left behind during the last trim. But I definitely feel more confident now wearing my hair long without the damaged look.

Glad to know you had a wonderful Mother's day celebration. Being with family is all that really matters.
I watched bits and pieces of amazing race but am never a fan though. But fear factor and survivor I love!
Glad to know your hair is becoming healthier..It's nice to have healthy, shiny hair, I agree... ^_^
thanks mitzh! hope you had fun too! =D
i started watching amazing race and survivor because of ruther, but it's nice, those 2 shows. fear factor, i don't watch religiously, only if I happen to catch them on axn.
still keeping close tabs on my hair. some strands still look brittle but i'll still definitely use the hair vitamins. for P35 per 6 capsules, this surely beats hot oil any day! =D
I kinda love hot oil. I love all the kind of hair treatments they offer there in the Philippines..
Did you know that Mayonnaise is really good for conditioning dry hair and it really makes it shiny. You just have to bear with the smell though, but if you shampoo it really well it will be gone after 1 day...
My hairdresser used to to that to my hair when we were still living there and it's really nice and cheap. :P
yes, you're right. the hair treatments in the philippines are great and also because they are affordable. =D
no, i didn't hear about mayonnaise for treating hair. that's really interesting... i do want to try the virgin coconut oil (VCO) because many say that it really works wonders for the hair and even removes dandruff! so maybe that will be my next step. =D
I agree about VCO, it's quite expensive though. But worth every penny..
My husband drinks VCO as a supplement and I think it does do wonder for the body..
i think VCO for the hair is not too expensive, with the competition and all. =D which is then good for consumers. hehehe...
it's good your husband drinks supplements. ruther is usually forgetful about these things and I have to remind him often (not that i'm complaining). =D
