SHOES

I think I am in dire need of new shoes. Ever since I got pregnant, I have become very comfortable in flipflops. I love flipflops. Especially in a tropical country like the Philippines, flipflops are ABSOLUTELY great! And I just find them very convenient, very light and I could always chase Ethan around the mall or wherever with no worries about breaking my ankle or losing track of him (he can run like the wind). So don't get me wrong, my flipflops are here to stay.

I just sometimes feel that I need some classy shoes once in a while. I miss all those strappy heeled shoes and mary janes I used to have (but have given away since). Once in a while, I want to walk with care (which I could only do when I'm 1 1/2 to 2 inches off the ground) and walk like a model ( I said walk not look, okay?). So, when I saw these sandals in a magazine, I instantly fell in love with them. These are my kind of shoes. Well, maybe not so much the height, but the design is so me. Love love love it! Don't you think they're cute? I think these would be great with a skirt or jeans or even some nice shorts. Another reason why I find them so adorable - they are so versatile! I love the color, the design, the cute lace look it has. Really cute! Okay, I know I'm drooling but I can't help myself! Anyway, I'm in no rush to buy them because for sure, they will be expensive. But should I find something very similar and reasonably priced, I won't hesitate to buy it. Oh, and did I forget to mention the bag is adorable too? =D

as a stay-at-home mom, I sometimes feel guilty about buying things for myself because I always think that my boys' needs are more urgent and also because i don't earn and I think I always feel like I'm buying needlessly when they are for me. but of course, I want to look nice for my husband so sometimes, I get some things for myself. =D

thanks for dropping by, katie!

awww so cute! I actually feel the way you do yette, but sometimes I think it's not wrong to pamper ourselves from time to time.

Being a stay at home mom is not a joke. It's the most tiring yet satisfying job...

you're right, mitzh! =D which is why i sometimes check my wardrobe for some things I could do without and then gauge if I really NEED to buy a blouse or a pair of shoes. my mantra is: buy one, get rid of another. so, if i can't get rid of one thing in my cabinet, i can't buy something else. this way, i know i'm not splurging on unimportant things. =D
