At last, I have bought the last of the pasalubong to bring to Manila. Today, Mommy and I bought several boxes of those chocolate sticks that my brothers-in-law love, some rolls for Mama and Papa and keychains for friends. I also bought some clothes for the boys and a lovely shawl for formal affairs. I already put those in a box and I just have to tie it up tomorrow and it'll be all set. I still have to pack some final things but I could say that we are 95% done with our packing. And I am quite pleased with that. =D

Today is another rainy day. Any doubts I might have had that summer was not over has now dissipated. Yup, rainy days have come. And I couldn't be more pleased. =D
.....
Star Movies is showing the Star Wars movies in celebration of its 30th Anniversary. Ruther and I are big fans. REALLY big fans. When I was little, I remember watching Star Wars, Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi again and again with my sister and brother on my dad's betamax player. So imagine my surprise when my mom said that she never really appreciated the 5th and 6th episodes of the movie. Oh the horror! The disillusionment! And here I thought that my mom and dad were Star Wars fans too. Makes me want to claim those betamax tapes for myself!
Anyway, drama aside, I hope Nikki and Ethan will learn to love this movie as well. The lessons are, after all, universal. I think that 20 years from now, they will still be showing these 6 episodes in theatres. I look forward to going to the movies as a family. I think that would be so wonderful.

I just love seeing Ethan with his new haircut. It just looks so great on him after all the drab trimmings I did on him for the past year. But now he looks so much like a little boy and less like a baby. Sigh. But still, I'm very glad he got the cut. Now, I'm really considering hiring a barber to do a home service every month! Anyway, I can't wait to take photos of him on his birthday! =D
