I'M SO GRATEFUL

Thank you Mio, Mitzh, Amy and Cheryll for all your kind words about the homeschooling rant I posted yesterday. You just don't know how happy and appreciated you all made me feel. Like I posted in the "comments" section, I thought to myself " Was this all I needed to feel better?" All it took were some supportive words and now, I feel like I can do anything. It's really amazing how nice friends could change your disposition from frustrated to ready to conquer the world. Really, from the bottom of my heart, I am very very grateful! You are all wonderful friends! Mwah!

.....

I finally ordered Ethan's birthday cake. I got it from Goldilocks and surprise surprise! They had a Cars-themed cake! It could not have been more perfect. Of course, I immediately picked it. I just know that Ethan would be ecstatic about his cake because everytime he sees any one of those cars in the movie, he yells, "KA-CHOW!" Hahaha! He's so cute! I'll be making the backdrop myself just so it would look really nice in the photos. Now I just have to buy him a present and then wrap it when he's asleep. Ruther already has a present for Ethan. I have to get it from his friend though. Anyway, I plan to buy some lechon manok (roasted chicken), pancit bihon and ice cream for dinner. I will of course, share that with family. I'll definitely get a lot of photos. =D

.....

I am excited for Saturday. We will be visiting Hundred Islands and not only will it be my first time there, we will be going as a family (with my mom, sis and brother and the boys) so I'm so pyched! I'm already making the list of things to bring and I even bought Nikki a small stroller bag for the bus. This way, he'll learn to be responsible for his things (a.k.a. toys and food) while I attend to Ethan during the 5-hour trip. I just want it to be fun, fun, fun!

.....

Okay, it's still hot here in Manila. And here I thought that by being positive about the weather, it would miraculously be cool here. But nope. It's still sweltering. Even the boys are complaining about the heat and so I shower them 3 times a day now. That keeps them happy of course, but the constant showering is using up all my lotion! And now I'm stuck with dry skin. I better get a bigger bottle of lotion next time.
