STORYLAND

Nikki had a great time today at Storyland (at SM Southmall). We went along with Mama and Papa because they had to go to a store there and my brother-in-law, Ron drove us. So, while there, we had the opportunity to buy the bunny/-ies that Nikki wanted. We were going to buy only one but I was worried that the bunny might get lonesome and eventually die so we ended up buying a pair, one white, one dark grey. The pair cost P340 (approximately US$7.35) which was okay with me because the bunnies right outside our sudivision cost P250 (US$5.40) each!! So yes, I was quite happy with the price. And I did not have to buy rabbit food because our refrigerator had lots of cabbage and carrots in it, not to mention the long grasses in the vacant lots in the nearby streets.

Anyway, after buying the rabbits, we went to Storyland. I just wanted the boys to try the car ride (it goes along a track) but only Nikki rode that because Ethan was sleepy and was very cranky. Nikki rode that twice and then I let him play the arcade (racing). After that, Nikki tried the one where he had to paddle these cute yellow boats. He enjoyed that so much, he wanted to have another go at it but unfortunately, we had to leave because Mama and Papa were waiting for us and we had to go home. On the way home, Nikki spoke non-stop about going back to Storyland to ride the boats again and I promised him we will. I was quite happy about that. Nikki needs more activities like this to practice his gross motor skills. Maybe the next time we go there, Ethan will try the rides as well. =D

Here's a photo of Nikki with Sushi, the girl rabbit:
