COLD TUESDAY

This morning, I woke up because it was freezing. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but it really WAS cold! And I was using a blanket at that!! The rains from yesterday didn't let up and now we're having constant rains and dark skies and a few gusts of wind now and then. The drip-drop of the water on the awning outside our window is a constant noise, not to mention the whooshing sound of the wind and downpour. I still think this is a typhoon. Again, I haven't watched the news for a few days now...

I remember before when I was little, whenever it would rain like this, I would quickly anticipate the cancellation of classes (which rarely happened in Zamboanga because we hardly ever experience floods there) and when they did get cancelled, it was like a birthday present. That's how much I loved to stay at home, curled up with a book while rain and wind battled outside my window. Then my mom would make hot chocolate and I would wish it would rain again the next day. Yup, lovely times.
