STILL RAINING

Yup, it's still raining today, although it's not as dark as yesterday and not as blustery. Early this morning though, it was raining very hard, I woke up to the sound of the downpour. I covered the boys with the blanket (we share a big one) and I went back to sleep. When I woke up this morning, they were both out of the blanket again. As usual. Sigh.

I'm planning to have my hair cut later. I already have an idea on the style but nothing too fancy of course. I would still want it to be long enough to be tied whenever I want to because it could a bit irritating when I do my chores and my hair is in the way or blocking my view. Hopefully, the rain will finally let up and I could go out when the boys are napping. Well, that is the original plan. As you very well know, things like this are subject to change without prior notice. =P

Last night, I varnished the bannister/handrail of the staircase. I promised Mama that I would help with the fixing up of the house but I told Russell (my brother-in-law) that I would prefer to do painting jobs because it's easier, because I could easily get away should the boys need me and because I'm not surrounded by dangerous tools should Ethan decide to frolic around me. Sure enough, while I was varnishing last night, Ethan was going up and down the stairs and ended up with more varnish on him than me. I had to give him a quick shower to clean him up. =D I'm planning to paint the kitchen next but I have to wait for Mama to buy the white latex as we are out of it.
