The day has finally come. Ruther is coming home today! I am so excited! I called him this morning at 4am Japan time (3am Manila time) just to make sure he was up and getting ready to leave. He's supposed to take the first train (430am) to Yokohama station so he could take a bus from YCAT (Yokohama City Air Terminal) to Narita airport. He told me that he was able to get some zzz's in the bus, which was good because he really lacks sleep. I called him again at around 830am Japan time (730 Manila time) to see if he made it smoothly through immigration and such and yeah, he was at the waiting area anticipating the boarding call. When I asked him if he had breakfast, he said that he had a banana muffin. That's good because anyway, he'll get more food in the plane. I also told him to pray before take-off for a safe trip. He told me he will. I already paid for a mass yesterday for that intention (safe trip) so I hope God will watch over him. I know that Nikki is excited to see his dad. Oh yeah, speaking of Nikki, here's the sign he made for Ruther:
Isn't that cute? I just wrote the words using a pencil and Nikki traced them with a permanent marker and filled the letters with color using chalk. Oh yeah, he also did those doodles. I think it's really cute! Later, I'll take a photo of Ruther with the boys in front of this sign. =D
