NIKKI IS IN SMART PARENTING MAG!

Nikki was featured in this month's kiddie greets in Smart Parenting Magazine! This is so great! I didn't think that he would be featured because Ethan's photo was not in the June 2007 issue (for his 4th birthday) and I was SO disappointed. I was really hoping that Nikki's photo would be shown though, because Smart Parenting magazine prints kids' photos from ages 1-6 years and Nikki is turning 6 this year! So it was a make or break thing. And I am so glad that he made it!! Of course, I showed everyone his photo! Now I have to get more magazines! I want Nikki to have his own copy and my mom would want one as well so hopefully I'll get more this week. =D Oh yeah, Ruther already saw it and he was quite proud of his little boy. I promise I'll post a photo of the page tomorrow... =D

My day today started earlier than usual. My sis invited me to play badminton at around 8 this morning so I was up at around 745am. Since there were only the 3 of us, my brother and I played against my sister and then we switched and my sis and brother played against me. My last badminton game was when I was in Zamboanga and that was last summer! If I'm not mistaken, it was in May! So it's been a while since I played and well, not wanting to lose against my competitive siblings, I just jad to give it my all and so by afternoon, my muscles were mostly sore. My right arm kinda ached a bit but it's better now. Hopefully, when Ruther is home, we'll finally be able to play doubles (and hopefully, Ruther and I will win). =D
