FAMILY DAY AT SUN CITY

Today we went to Sun City in Calamba for another family day. Mama and Papa wanted to spend the day there because they know that Nikki really loves the place and is quite excited to go back. So we left at 8 this morning and the moment we arrived there, the boys changed into their trunks and just swam and played. It was terribly hot and there were a lot of people. I was worried at first because Nikki kept on going to the adult pool (was about chest-high) and even if he had his floatie and there were lifeguards nearby, I didn't want anything bad happening while I was at our table. But he eventually made some friends there and just wanted to play with them. So I tried to keep an eye on them as much as I could and gave him water from time to time. Ethan spent most of the time in the kiddie pools and was quite happy there. After lunch, I changed and then brought the boys to another adult pool. We just swam and played and enjoyed the water until Nikki could no longer open his eyes (this was around 130pm or so). So we got out of the water, showered, changed and in a few minutes, the boys were asleep. They did not nap long because it was a bit uncomfy, hot and noisy so Nikki woke up after 20 or so minutes. Then he asked us if we could go home already. I guess it was just too hot to continue swimming and really, the crowd doubled in size so the pools looked packed with people that it no longer looked fun. So we all agreed to leave then and by 4pm, we were back home. The boys are a bit sunburned but I'm sure they don't mind that because of all the fun they had. They did miss their dad though because the last time we were there Ruther was with us. Sad. =(
