ALMONDIGAS

This is one of my favorite dishes to prepare...

good for 4-6 people

1/2 kilo ground pork
3 stalks green onions, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 small onion, chopped
3 cups stock or water
patis to taste
misua

Combine ground pork and green onions. Season to taste. Add in the beaten egg and flour. Mix well then form into 1-inch diameter balls.
In a saucepan, heat oil. Saute garlic and onions. Add stock or water and bring to a boil. Drop in the meatballs and allow to cook. Season the broth with patis. When meatballs are done, drop in the misua. Cook for a few minutes. Serve hot.
