I just read in the paper that we will have a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts branch here in Manila! Yay! I'm so excited to try those! Any suggestions on the flavors?
Bad news: The branch will be in Greenhills and that's so far from where I live. =( Oh well. Might as well bribe my brother to drive me there next month.

waah..haven't tried this yet. but i think they have a branch at the fort and megamall already which is "a bit" nearer from here. hehehe.

have you tried any of their doughnuts? maybe they should make that a warning on their boxes: "this box of doughnuts could kill you, eat at your own discretion."
It's funny, I never have the chance to eat Krispy Kreme here in Japan...
As to why, it is because of the looooooooong line.
It'll take 30 minutes or more just to get a box of Krispy Kreme. grrrrr! And they only have one branch (I think) that is in Shinjuku. They should really try to put up more, but I guess they're hesitating as to how long the craze over Krispy Kreme will last.
Anyway, I'm happy that I have a taste of Krispy Kreme when we had our vacation there. We live near The Fort and just 30 minutes drive to Megamall, so for the 3 weeks that we stayed there I had a fair share of all the Krispy Kreme I could eat!
yes, i read in shari's blog that it usually takes forever to get a krispy kreme doughnut in japan. =D
i have yet to try it to know what the hype is all about. frankly, when i tried gonuts donuts, i thought that it was too sweet so i hope krispy kreme is not the same. =)
To tell you the truth, it was somehow a disappointment for me. Parang when we finally tried it, that was it?! It was fluffy, yes, pero other than that, nothing really special. I haven't tried the Gonuts Donuts kind, pero sabi nung mga naka-try na pareho, similar daw.
Kung calorie overloading na lang din naman......Beard Papa's Cream Puffs pa din! Hahahaha!
hahaha! that's what I'm afraid of. dahil ba sa hype magiging mataas yung expectations ko tapos ganun lang pala yung lasa.
