BREAD AND PASTRIES

Yesterday, after buying some stuff at the supermarket, we happened to pass by Daiso, the Y100 shop. While checking some of the toys there, Nikki asked me to buy a bread and pastry set. He said he wanted to bring them home. Since I saw this as another lesson for him, I agreed and he was quite delighted about it.

When we arrived home, he opened the pack immediately. I taught him the names of the different bread and pastries but I did not want him to simply know them by sound but by how they were written so I made some labels for him to stick on each plastic toy. He enjoyed the lesson so much, he refused to remove the labels on the toys! When Ethan tried to eat the hotdog, Nikki was cross with him when he found out the label came off. He was so funny! After the lesson, he carefully set aside the toys but kept close watch on them should Ethan try to grab one and eat it. =D

Nikki loves to learn...

That's adorable! You're lucky to have a kid who's so eager to learn.
