V-DAY WREATH

I decided to make a Valentine's Day door wreath yesterday. I just thought our door needed some oomph after I took away the Christmas decor last December. So, using an idea from a crafts site and making use of some of the materials here at home, I made this in the end:

Colorful, bright and cheery. =D

Materials: paper plate, red hearts, pink hearts, sticky tape, string. Cost of materials: approximately P7.

I used a little doll figure to make the wreath look a bit Japanese. =D Those magnets keep the wreath in place and prevent it from flying off the door. I put the peephole in the center.

When the boys and I walked to the grocery yesterday, we saw this little guy on the sidewalk. I picked him up and brought him home. When I was making the wreath, I decided to hang him as a cute addition. He's so cute. He perfectly jazzes up the whole look and makes the wreath personalized and unique. =D

I like it! (And I hate Valentine's Day.) It's "Single's Awareness Day" for some of us. *-laughs-*
