5 DEGREES

I check the weather regularly now. Not only is it essential for my survival (yes, i know, i know. i mentioned the cold maaaany times now), but it helps with the household chores as well (how else will i know when it's the best day to wash?). Plus, Ruther has an idea what to wear/bring to work.

I check the weather, yes, but i rarely check the temperature. So, imagine my surprise when i saw this morning that the coldest temperature today is 5 degrees. Minus 5 and it'll be zero! Can't wait to tell my dad! This morning, when Ruther went out the door to leave for work, he showed me how cold it was by blowing out his breath. It was really misty! I was so excited, i went out to try it even though my feet were icy after a few seconds. I can't remember the last time i experienced this so please excuse my childish excitement. If my memory serves me right, I think the last time i experienced cold breath was when my family and I went to Baguio when I was a little girl. But that was waaay back when Baguio was so much colder than now. (Okay, maybe it was in the 80's). So, really, it was nice to see my breath come out in mists once more. Maybe tomorrow, I'll let the boys experience this too. I'm sure they'll love it!!!

Mufflers and jackets, check! Gloves, check! Cold breath, check! Next stop... snow!
