MYOB (MAKE YOUR OWN BOOKS)

After visiting many bookstores here, I noticed that only a handful of books are in English. So, it's pretty hard to look for books for the boys to read. They have already become quite saturated with the ones I brought with me so it was quite a dilemma for me a few days back. But being the resourceful me, I checked the internet for online books and found my solution there. So, all I did was make books for Nikki and Ethan. I chose particularly age-related stories and printed them. Not only were there many to choose from but I found some rhyming stories as well which helps me a lot with rhyme lessons for Nikki. Another plus? The books are so cheap. I just print them on regular bond paper, put them together with binger clips and voila! A storybook at your fingertips. Good thing Ruther has a printer here and a stack of bond papers as well. So now, I try to get at least 3 stories for the boys a week. Nikki's latest favorite? The story of the Lion and the Mouse.
