TAKING IT EASY

Today is a slow day. I suppose with all the hustle and bustle of these past few days (Christmas, DisneySea, New Year's), we just want to stay home and wind down. Right now, Ruther is revisiting a Harry Potter movie: The Goblet of Fire. It's all right with me. It is, after all, a slow day.

.....

I'm still wondering what I'll be cooking for lunch. I absolutely have no idea at this time. Maybe I could check my favorite recipe source for some suggestions. I would rather eat something soup-y because it's a cold morning but I'll have to confer with Ruther first on what he prefers to eat.

.....

Ruther will be going back to work on Thursday. I am glad for that because that will mean spending more time with him. We have no plans for today so I might tidy up the room a bit. It got messy over the weekend...

.....

Last night, I spoke to Ate through Skype. She said that Daddy is so excited to see the boys in March. He really loves them a lot and always wants to spend time with them. I miss my family. I miss Mommy and Daddy. The last time I saw them was early last year, I think. I am also looking forward to seeing them when we go home. Ate also says that they visited Papang and Mamang's tomb the other day. I want to do that too when I get home with the boys. Hopefully, I will have time to do all these and also meet up with my friends and cousins and go to the beach when I get home.

.....

Last night, Ruther and I made a toast to the New Year. It was wonderful. Reminded me of the toast we made at Plantation Bay during our honeymoon. =D
