UNDER THE WEATHER, ORANGES AND WINTER SONATA
Nope, not me. Ruther has been feeling low since yesterday and i am worried that he'll develop a fever today. I hope not. He insisted on going to the office today even if he had occasional coughs and was already feeling a bit weak. Am worried because the weather is not helping. Aside from the chilly air, it's rainy as well. I just hope it won't rain so much or better yet, it'll stop raining, on his way home later. Yesterday, to make him feel a bit better, i made some weiners, mashed potatoes, and corn and carrots for lunch. Of course, i had to remind him to drink his Vitamin C and take lots of orange juice. I don't mind being his doctor and nurse but I hope he gets better real soon. =( I worry so much about this guy...
. . .
Lately, i have been craving for those small, sweet, yummy oranges sold at a nearby store. One (small) basket of oranges costs around Y260 and i love to eat them for a snack or as an after-meal dessert. Sometimes, i put the oranges on the window sill and after a few minutes, they are perfectly chilled. Before this, Ruther and i loved the pre-sliced melon from the supermarket. But lately, they haven't been as crunchy as before and Ruther was disappointed about that. After that, it was apples. Even Nikki asks for apples when he gets hungry in the afternoon. And now i discovered these little oranges. Maybe after this, i'll crave for another fruit. But for now, it'll be oranges, oranges, oranges...
. . .
Last week, I wanted to watch a korean tv drama (to take a break from all the Japanese dramas I've seen) and decided on Winter Sonata. I heard great reviews about this from my mom when she watched it back home (i missed this drama) and when i saw the first few episodes, i was hooked. I am now on the 13th episode and it's difficult having to wait for the next episode to finish (am of course, only downloading it, hehe). Anyway, i hope it will end happily. I hate sad endings...
